Rules & Policies
A safe place to play
starts with a few simple agreements.
We Have Rules To Support You
Every policy here exists to keep dogs safe, parents confident, and the community calm.

CORE
Principles
Here’s What Matters Most at APP:
-
Every dog deserves a calm, safe space to play.
-
Every parent deserves clear expectations.
-
Every moment inside should feel like a breath—not a battle.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
The
BIG 5

1. Vaccine Requirements
We require proof of up-to-date vaccinations to keep all tails wagging and noses happy. When every dog is cleared, everyone can relax—no guessing, no stressing.

Required:
-
Rabies
-
Bordetella
-
DDP (Distemper/Parvo)
-
Negative fecal (within 12 months)
Optional (but encouraged):
-
Leptospirosis
-
Canine Influenza
📌 You’ll upload these during profile setup.
📢 We’ll notify you when anything expires.
2. Spay/Neuter Policy
Male dogs over 10 months must be neutered to attend open play. Females can't be "in heat" while at The Playground.

Large breed males may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

3. Behavior Expectations
This is a structured play environment, not a free-for-all.
Dogs must be:
-
Socially appropriate
-
Non-aggressive
-
Able to be redirected by a parent

🚫 No bullying, resource guarding, or excessive barking
✅ We believe in learning, not punishment—but safety comes first.
4. Hooman Expectations
Hoomans are expected to:
-
Stay with their dog unless in a private rental
-
Clean up after their dog (inside + out)
-
Step in gently if behavior gets disruptive
-
Stay off phones and stay present

-
Support a calm, community-first vibe

5. Facility Use & Access
-
Only approved dogs are allowed in open play
-
Dogs must be on-leash until inside the playground
-
No food or treats in shared spaces
-
Play is at your own risk (but our eyes are always open)
From Kristin
"Structure Doesn't Restrict You"
"It supports you. We’ve seen what happens when parents feel clear and dogs feel safe. It’s the kind of peace you didn’t know you were missing.”
Every rule we’ve made is a door—not a wall.
When everyone knows what to expect, magic unfolds.
Your dog gets to just be a dog.
You get to relax, connect, and enjoy the ride.
