This outlines an immediate update to our Meet-N-Sniff process at The Playground.

The initial steps—creating a dog profile, uploading vaccination records, and vet clinic verification—will remain the same.

The primary change is the elimination of the in-person tour part. Instead of conducting a 30-minute rundown on how we work, we will provide the link to our YouTube Channel and request that all potential new members watch the videos prior to their appointment.

The revised purpose of the Meet-N-Sniff appointment will now be strictly focused on the following:

1. Evaluating the dog’s behavior.

2. Assessing the dog’s basic understanding of commands.

Based on the poll results from early December ... CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES will be the flavor for the "Cookie Contest"!

WHAT: Bake your best chocolate chip cookie (that's the only 'must-have' ingredient -- otherwise make however you want to)

HOW MANY: Probably make at least a few dozen. Each can be small, maybe 50cent size since we'll be eating (possibly) a bunch of them

WHEN: Bring to The Playground on Feb 14 for our Friendship Party

TIME: 11AM - 2PM

As winter gets into full swing, it is our busy time and we have a LOT of new dogs, littles, & tinies. Speaking of, we also are clearing a LOT of puppies (under 6 months old).

We all should be mindful when the littles, tinies, & puppies are at The Playground. So whether you have a little, tiny or puppy or a medium, large, or giant dog we all need to work together and be attentive.

Pull bigger dogs off the smols and pet parents make sure that you are pushing other dogs away (your personal bubble encompassing your dog).

Today's the big day! Party starts at 11AM and goes until 2PM. This is a FREE event for Monthly/Annual Members. To all other Registered Members (Meet-N-Sniff Tour passed the vax, vetted & verified process), you can purchase a 24-Hour Playground Pass to attend today! We do not take walk-ups to these events by unvetted dogs, nor do we accept at the door purchases.

During that time, we will have Christmas Photos by Tammy Taylor Photography for $10. As usual, we do take cash, Venmo, IOU, or your card on file. Unfortunately, we do not have a Santa this year.

But also in attendance will be Three Dog Bakery - Apple Valley, MN selling a variety of gifts and baskets. All of these will be inside the Food Area.

If you want to participate in Secret Santa, you can!! There's a new signup sheet by the Tree (on the office door). Each day I'll check to see if there are any new names, add them to the stockings, then cross the name off the list.

We will have limited hot water on Monday, November 10. We're swapping out the 6 gallon water heater for a 20 gallon!!
